Material Detector Mod – Download Material Detector for Minecraft. With this mod you can radar in your heads up display and you are able to find minerals. Material Detector Mod Features

• show the surrounding material at your level/height map


• indicate (far or not far) a given material with a direction to dig for


• The detector shows also the other materials that are in the list


• Only the blocks that are 2 blocks deep or 2 blocks above are shown.


• This way, while searching for iron, you can easily found coal.


• The water and lava is also displayed using this mechanism in order to avoid to dig into lava directly

Material Detector Mod Installations for Minecraft

1. Download and install Minecraft Forge or ModLoader


2. After installing modloader, make sure META-INF is deleted


3. Go to .minecraft/bin and open minecraft.jar with winrar or 7zip


4. Drag the files from the mod folder and drag them to minecraft.jar


5. Close minecraft and enjoy!

for minecraft 1.7.2 or 1.7.5 installations :

1. Go to your minecraft versions folder


2. Copy the folder 1.7.2 to a folder named 1.7.2Ellian


3. Rename the 1.7.2.jar file to 1.7.2Ellian.jar


4. Rename the 1.7.2.json file to 1.7.2Ellian.json


5. Open the json file


6. Change the value of the id information to “1.7.2Ellian”


7. Open the Minecraft Launcher


8. Create a new profile (you can name it 1.7.2Ellian)


9. In the “Use version” drop down, select “1.7.2Ellian”


10. In the “Launcher visibility”, select “Keep the launcher open”


11. Save the profile


12. Click on play


13. The game starts


14. In the “Develoment console” tab, you should see “Ellian Material Detector Loader”
